Our Mission
ATRI Index — the Ayurveda Titles & Research Information Index — was founded with a singular purpose: to make decades of Ayurveda research accessible, discoverable, and useful to the modern researcher.
Ayurveda is one of the world's oldest systems of medicine, yet much of the research conducted in Indian universities and clinical trial registries has remained scattered, difficult to search, and largely invisible to the broader research community. ATRI Index bridges that gap.
What We Index
ATRI Index aggregates and indexes research from authoritative national databases and registries, including:
- Postgraduate and doctoral theses from Ayurveda universities and colleges across India
- Registered Ayurveda clinical trials from the Clinical Trials Registry of India (CTRI)
- Research covering classical formulations, clinical conditions, herbal medicines, and treatment protocols
- Data spanning multiple decades of Ayurveda academic output
